Masking transitions

Hello, I know how to do basic masking like this one on the website http://www.cbtcafe.com/flash/masking.html But I was wondering how do you create these kinds of effects on this one template that I saw http://www.deluxe-planet.net. How did this person create these different transitions? I want to be able to do this for my client. Thanks Kevin
